Notification of Email Failures

Failure Notification Messaging: When you are sending emails to registrants from the Reporting tab, Event Manager will detect the failure and provide a notification message. Messages will be shown for:

  • DNS Failures

  • Failed to Connect to the Server

  • No Response from the Server

  • Authentication Error

Any failures going out through our Send Grid email system will be queued and re-attempted up to 5 times upon service being restored.

Failure email to organizer: The failure notification will be sent to the organizer(s) using the address on file.

Below is a sample email (subject to change):

Subject: Urgent: Email Job Failed in Event Manager

Body:

An email job in Event Manger failed due to the following reason: <FailureResponse>

Please login to Event Manager and go to the Admin tab to resend. If you have any questions, please contact support at 877-600-3811.
