Recent Contract Changes (Revised)

We here at eFit Financial released some updates to Contracts. You may have noticed contracts printing on more pages than usual due to these format changes. We understand changes like this can be difficult so we will be going over why these specific changes were made

The first page of the contract looks the same and has most of the same information but we removed the Easy Pay Authorization Form (Which gives eFit Financial permission to process payments) and the secondary members section from this page and on to their own separate pages. We also have seperated the Renewal Terms and added a Cancellation Policy section that will print on its own seperate page as well.

(To add a Cancelation Policy, go to the Club Adminstration Tab, then to the Manage Club Information link and then select Profile to enter in your Cancellation Policy)

We are separating these section and having them on their own pages to easier to dispute issued charge-backs. With the current climate, people are more and more frequently contacting their financial institutions to place stop payments for recurring items and issuing chargebacks for payments then contacting you or us here at eFit Financial. We do notify you of these chargebacks. To dispute these chargebacks on behalf of you, our clients, we will now be able to give these financial instututions their members signed contract (1st page) then a signed copy of the Easy Pay Authorization form. (2nd Page) and the signed Renewal and Cancelation Policy (3rd page) With this being easier for banks/card companies to understand exactly what the member has agreed upon, we are expecting more judgements in our favor and quicker responses times by these companies and ensure those funds stay with you.

With the increase in pages we do suggest getting a Electronic Signature Pad if you have not already. This will allow for you to take signatures on contracts and email signed contracts to your members at anytime. All signed contracts are saved within eFit to allow you to bring up this info at anytime and essentially have your business go paperless.
