How To Remove A User Account Through Brivo Member Maintenance

Removing user accounts is very important for Brivo facilities. Removing user accounts, will remove accounts that should not have access to the facility, and if you have the card, it will also allow you to re-use the card attached to give to a new member. Below is a step-by-step lesson on How to Remove a User Account Through Brivo Member Maintenance.

How to Get to Brivo Member Maintenance

The first step to Remove a User Account in Brivo Member Maintenance is to go to the members Brivo Member Maintenance page.

You can access this two ways - by going to Member Profile for the member (pictured above) or by going directly to Brivo Members. If your not sure on how to access Brivo Member Maintenance, please look over the Overview of Brivo Member Maintenance lesson for instructions.

Brivo Member Maintenance

Now that you have the Brivo Member Maintenance for the member in question, you will see that under the Member Brivo Status the member has a Brivo Status of Active.

On the right you will see a link that says Remove.

Run your mouse to that link and select it.

Confirmation

Once you have selected the Remove link a confirmation screen will appear asking if you are sure that you would like to Remove the member from Brivo. Please select Yes.

Finished

Now that you have selected Yes on the confirm screen a message will then appear in green stating that the user account was removed from Brivo. The members Brivo Status will have a status of Removed and the card number attached to the user has now been removed.

This will allow you (if you have the card still) to be able to re-use the card that was attached to the user.
