How To Suspend A Member

Suspending a member access through Brivo Member Maintenance is a very useful tool for our Brivo facilities. By being able to Suspend a members access in Brivo, it will let the card still be attached to the member while not giving the member access to the facility.

Below is a lesson on How to Suspend a Member's Access through Brivo Member Maintenance.

Go to Brivo Member Maintenance

The first step to Suspend a Member in the new Brivo Member Maintenance is to go to the members Brivo Member Maintenance page.

You can access this two ways on the Operations page - by going directly to Brivo Members or by going onto the Member Profile for the member (pictured above).

Brivo Member Maintenance and the Member Brivo Status

Once you have Brivo Member Maintenance, you will see that the member has a Brivo Status of Active. This will need to change to Suspend.

On the right side you will see a link that says Suspend. Run you mouse to that link and select it.

Confirmation

Now that you have selected the Suspend link a confirm screen will appear asking if you are sure you would like to Suspend access for the member. Please run your mouse and select Yes.

Finished

Now that you have selected Yes you will see a message on the top appear informing you that the member has been Suspended and does not have access at this time.

You will also notice the Brivo Status of Suspended. The member will not have access into the facility until the members status is Reinstated.
