Setting Up Tiered Pricing for Family Contracts 

Member Manager will allow you to add multiple members to any contracts.  If you sell Family Contracts and would like to create a pricing schedule, you can setup pricing depending on how many members are added.  To create a family contract, go to Setup>Inventory>Packages, and click Add Contract to add a new option.  Or you can edit / duplicate an existing contract to add tiered pricing.  Click the create contract article for more details contract setup. Create Contract Check Allowed for Pro-Shop if you would like this contract available for purchase in the Member Portal. Members can add up to 5 additional members (Users) on a contract purchased in the Member Portal, and the tiered pricing will apply.

Adding a New Contract with Tiered Pricing.

Go to Setup>Inventory>Packages and click Add Contract.  Create the contract as you normally would.  Setup the top portion and add your items to the package with the pricing for one person.  In this case, we are charging 100.00 per month.  Be sure to choose the member option under Update Student Rates before moving on.  Typically, you would choose “All Students”. 

Complete the Renewal Details.

Setup contract type, number of payments, and payment frequency.  Be sure to leave “Auto Renewal” checked.

 

Setup Contract Details. 

Click Apply Tiered Pricing to setup the pricing details for each member.  The screen will show the standard pricing on the right, which will be the payment amount setup in the Current Items section multiplied by the number of members. If you give a discount for multiple members, then you can set that payment amount under Tiered Pricing.  The pricing amount will be the total payment for all members.  So, in this example, 1 member is 100.00 per month, 2 members are 175.00 per month, 3 members are 259.00 per month and 4 or more members are 300.00.  You can only add up to 5 members per contract.

Initiation Fee:  Note:  The initiation fee is a separate fee that is charged above the payment amount.  This fee is charged per member, so cannot be setup as a tiered price.  Anything entered here will charge that amount per member. You can update the initiation fee for any member during the contract entry process, when entering in the Member Manager. 

Once completed, click Save and Exit.

Purchasing Multiple Member Contract through the Member Portal.

Once a member logs into the member portal. They can click Enroll and choose the Family Package and click Join Now.

Select the members that are on the contract. The tiered pricing details will show on the right and will update the payment amount based on how many members are selected. Click Manage Users to Edit/Add users on this list.
