ICS File Link on Confirmation Page: After a successful registration, the user will land on a confirmation screen which will contains a link, Add to my calendar. When clicked, an ICS calendar file will be downloaded.

 

ICS File Link and Attachment on Registrant Email: The registrant email confirmation will also contain the ICS file as an attachment, as well as a link to download the ICS file.

 

Depending on your email client, the file may automatically import the ICS file attached to the email. If the ICS file is not imported automatically, the user will need to manually import the ICS file into their calendar. Here are some options for common email clients: 

Import for Outlook: You can drag and drop the file into your calendar or perform the following steps:

  1. In Outlook, choose File, choose Open & Export, and then choose Import/Export.

  2. In Import and Export Wizard box, choose Import an iCalendar (. ics)

  3. Choose the extracted file from your PC and choose OK.

  4. Choose Import. The items are automatically imported into your calendar.

Import for Gmail: You can drag and drop the file into your calendar or perform the following steps:

  1. Open Google Calendar.

  2. In the top right, click the Settings Gear, then Settings.

  3. In the menu on the left, click Import & Export.

  4. Click Select file from your computer and select the file you exported.

  5. Choose which calendar to add the imported events to.

  6. Click Import.
