Now that has been done on the top right hand corner of Brivo Member Maintenance you will see the Create link highlighted in blueADD (or Update if member is already in Brivo) link. Please run your mouse to that link and select it.

Now that you have selected the CreateADD link a screen will appear confirming if you want to create a Brivo Account for this member. You will select Yes.

Once it has been processed. A message in green will appear saying that the user account for the member has been created in Brivo. You can also see that under the Member Brivo Status the member has a status of Active.

Creating a New User Through Member Maintenance

The first step to Create a New User in Brivo through Member Maintenance is to bring up Member Maintenance for the member we would like to create in Brivo.

Once you bring up the members account in Member Maintenance, on the Member Tab you will see some information on the left hand side.

You will find the Card # field, a BarCode icon named Edit and the link to Brivo Member Maintenance.

You will select with your mouse the bar code icon named Edit. Once that is done an Edit BarCode ID screen will appear where you can update the member's card number.

You will manually place the Brivo Card number in the Card Number field. Once that is finished you will select the Save button.

Navigation to Brivo Member Maintenance

Once you have successfully placed and saved the Card Number in the Edit Card Number ID screen you will see the card number that was placed in the Card Number field in Member Maintenance.

To Activate the card we will now need to navigate into Brivo Member Maintenance. With your mouse please select the link Brivo Member Maintenance underneath the Card # and BarCode icon.

Now that you have selected the Brivo Member Maintenance link. Brivo Member Maintenance appears.

As you can see on the top a message appears stating that the member is not a Brivo user and it will require us to Create an account. On the right you will see a Create link highlight in blue.

On the left you will see the card that was added earlier in the Card # field and below that the Group Membership field which will show the Available groups in your Brivo panel.

Placing a Member in the Proper Group

You will now need to place the member in the proper Group for access to the facility.

You should know which Groups will have access for your doors at your facility. For example this group, Group Members gives the member entry access to the front door.

You will want to select the correct Group(s) for what the member will have access to. You will then select the < icon.

Once the < icon is selected it will then move the group selected from the Available section to the Joined section.
